Art & Music: Elizabeth Perry & Rhonda Denet

Art & Music Reception A reception to celebrate our December exhibit: Botanical and Scientific Art by Elizabeth (Missy) Perry With a special performance by the incomparable Jazz/Soul vocalist Rhonda Denet. Elizabeth Perry has been drawing for nearly 40 years. She began by drawing in fashion design school, then in architecture school, and got her certification in botanical illustration at the New York Botanical Garden. She finally got serious about drawing a year and a half ago when she made the switch from the necessity of earning a living to doing what she loves. Elizabeth lives and works in Maplewood. She is married and has a 5 year old son who shares her enthusiasm of the natural world. The mediums used are watercolor, graphite, colored pencil and sepia pencil.
