In Search Of a Household Manager/Cook/Family Support

We are looking for a caring and reliable person to help manage our household. The role involves:

1. Light housekeeping: tidying up, organizing, straightening rooms
2. Meal prep/cooking: preparing healthy meals that cater to a family with children, we eat mainly Caribbean Dishes, and also enjoy Asian, American, and Italian meals
3. Laundry: including children's clothes, adult clothes (excluding intimates), and household linens
4. Household tasks: maintaining an organized environment, handling minor chores
5. Family support: assisting with occasional child-related needs, supporting the smooth running of the home

Optional tasks (not required but a great bonus if possible):

• -Running errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up household supplies
• -Helping with school bags, organizing the children’s belongings, and light caregiving when necessary
• -Assisting with occasional scheduling or light admin tasks

We would love for this person to come 3 days a week for 12-15 hours total on Mondays, Tuesdays (or Thursdays), and Fridays. We are flexible with the exact timing, whether it's midday (e.g., 12pm-5pm) or later in the afternoon/evening (e.g., 3pm-8pm), depending on what works best for the candidate.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting families and would like flexible hours. The ideal candidate is someone who can keep the household running smoothly, creating a calm and organized environment for our busy family. Experience with children with special needs is a plus, but not required.
