FT (35 hrs) Nanny for 9mo (ASAP Start)

We have an incredible family in Basking Ridge searching for a full time live out nanny for their 9mo son.

The schedule will be Monday - Thursday 830am to 430pm and Fridays 9am to 12pm. Total of 35 guaranteed hours per week.

The ideal start date is immediate and the family are hoping for a long term commitment for a minimum of 2-3 years.

Mom and dad are first time working parents. They currently have a hybrid schedule with some days in the office and some days working from home. The nanny should be comfortable both independently caring for the child and also in collaboration with the parents.

Candidates who are affectionate, high energy, silly, nurturing, mature and safety conscious will be a great fit for this family.

Interested candidates should:

• Have experience with infants & toddlers and a general knowledge of developmental milestones and the associated activities. A minimum of 10 years of experience is preferred
• Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Montessori approaches.
• Be a team player, flexible, and a great communicator with mom and dad.
• Fully vaccinated including COVID Vaccine + Boosters
• An experienced and safe driver (local driving is a responsibility, especially as the child gets older. A family car is generally available)

Responsibilities will include:

• Complete childcare with a focus on meaningful engagement and interaction (priority)
• The child’s laundry
• Light meal prep (baby led weaning)
• Tidying of kitchen and common spaces

There are no pets in the home.

The family are offering a generous weekly pay based on the guaranteed hours along with paid vacation, holidays, and sick/personal days.
