Growing Summit Family seeking a collaborative Nanny for G4, G1.5, and eventually twin baby boys. Working hours are 8-5:30 M-Th and 8-5 on Fri with a flexible start date between February/March.
Responsibilities:
-Partnering with mom in caring for the children (typically nanny would handle the girls or the boys at any given time, not expected to manage all 4 on their own)
-Creating an engaging and stimulating environment while following a general schedule
-Child-related household tasks (help
with laundry, tidying common areas from children’s toys/messes, assistance with simple meal-preparation)
-Weather-permitting outdoor time
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-5:30, Friday 8-5.
-Mom typically handles 5-8pm herself (dinner, bathing kids, etc) so if a candidate would like more hours, they are available. In this case, mom would be happy to give some time off mid-day while the children nap to allow the nanny to run any personal errands, attend appointments as needed, or simply take a break!
Household Notes:
-Boys are due in May 2025, Family will have a newborn nanny when the babies arrive to help the transition
-Mom anticipates doing most of the driving, but appreciates help as needed or for park trips, etc. -Family mini-van provided
-Dad typically works in the city 4x/week and frequently travels for work
-Family spends some time at the Jersey Shore in the summer and would love if a nanny could sometimes accompany, but wouldn’t be a requirement
Ideal Candidate:
- Kind, enthusiastic, reliable, high-energy, able to anticipate needs, engaging, proactive, collaborative, organized, creative, easy to get along with, and detail-oriented
-Able to step in and out as needed with tasks/which children they’re managing at a given time
-Strong communicator
-Great experience with both babies as well as preschool aged children
-Bonus: Mandarin speaking
-Bonus: if they’re familiar with the area and local activities, as the family is newer to the Summit area
Compensation:
- Hourly rate commensurate with Experience (~35/hr)

Requirements:
-3+ years of infant-preschool experience
- Eligible to work in the US
- Reliable transportation
- Clean criminal and driving record
- Fluent English
-CPR/First Aid certified
-Up to date on vaccinations
