Yard drainage expert needed

Who would you hire to fix a flooding problem in between houses?  I need new grading of my property and, perhaps, river rocks or something so that water will run to the back of my property.  I'm

thinking I need a landscaper who is expert at water runoff.  Any ideas? Right now when there's a heavy rain, it's a lake in between my house and my neighbor's and then, if it's a really big rain, it's seeps into my basement.

you may want to call avellino in addition to french drains I believe they do dry wells which may help capture and redirect water 

I used Anthony's Landscaping many years ago to install French drains to  alleviate a similar problem. With a heavy rain, a lake would form in the rear of my neighbor's property and almost come up to my house.  In  South Orange the storm drains run through the rear of properties. Anthony installed French drains that are hooked-up to the storm drain (it was approved by the town.) Although you're in Maplewood,  I'm sure that Anthony could figure something out. He does a lot of this type of work.

I've mentioned before on MOL that we have been happy with the "hardscaping" done by Birch Hill.  They regraded our front and side lawns, and installed drains that take water from the front of the house and direct it to the back, where it can properly drain.  Basically, the water goes around the house now instead of trying to go through it.  You may want to call them to see if they can propose a solution for you.
