Good evening all, looking to redo our wood floor this year, any recommendations for good flooring contractors?

As has been mentioned before on MOL, Jabob van Ysseldyk comes highly recommended. I recently used him for a repair job and a small refinishing job and was very pleased. I've also read several reviews of their service and they've come through with flying colors. They're pros at what they do and are very detail oriented. Really nice people to deal with, too.

If you are refinishing floors use Jacob . Lot of fly by night guys in the refinishing biz , it also makes a mess. If Jacob cost a couple of extra bucks , he's worth it.

Jacob redid our floors, which we ended up having to do brand new because they were over sanded

I also used Henry Hardwood.' 973-449-2403 based on Orzabelle's recommendation and was happy with the work.

We want to refinish, not new. Had two estimates and Jacob was double. I will call some of your other suggestions
