Who maintains your sprinkler system?

Emerald customer here.  We installed our system about 7 years ago and have had Emerald maintain the system since (opening / closing in spring / fall, making any repairs, head replacements, etc...)

Now that all warranties have long expired, looking for a lower cost maintenance option.... who do you use for sprinkler maintenance?

emerald!  Looked for options, too, a few years ago.  After shopping around, no one better. Honestly, their service has always been great

Same here -- emerald, after looking around but worse service and reliability with several others. I find them them expensive for maintenance, though, so you may want to do simple repairs yourself. Guess it's mostly labor. For example, a broken Toro head in $80. I can buy the same one on Amazon for $6 and replace myself.

Yeah blueheeler, the costs of replacing multiple heads year after year is what is the most crazy.  And one year, they told us we needed to replace 7 (over $400 at the time if I recall).  When we threatened to change services, they sent someone else out who told us we only needed two, and that the others were just clogged.  

I guess I'll just have to figure out how to change the heads myself.
