where to have a weekend getaway party that has a pool?

Never had a "wedding". Coming up on a big round anniversary number in July. Want to celebrate with close friends and family. Would like to rent either a large house, or secure a beautiful b&b where we can have guests stay. Would like to have a pool, and have some lawn area for entertainers (Have friends who can provide fire acrobats, and some dancing, etc). Guests will be coming from NYC, NJ, and PA. If it will be a weekend getaway, I'm sure anything in any of those states, or closeby in Connecticut, or even Hudson valley, etc would be fine. I know, this is vague, and asking for a lot, so any suggestions will at least get me started on what more to look for. I was part of a group of friends who went in on a huge house in the Outerbanks, and that was a lot of fun, for parents and kids, so looking for something to mimic the experience of lazy fun days by the pool, and some entertainment in the evening, but not that long drive down. Do not have a wedding size budget, so any guests staying would pay for their rooms, but I would provide for everything else. Anyone out there know of some magical place that would fit the bill? ;-)

Pleasantdale Chateau in West orange.  They have a private pool (used in the movie Cocoon) and a number of room (I think 12).  they have a lot of weddings and parties there so just have to hope it is free the weekend you want.  it is gorgeous.  

Renting out a full B and B is going to be tough - most have regulars that reserve the same weekends every year but there are many in Spring lake, Cape May, and bucks county.  

If you would consider a bit of a drive, check out the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. We did an extended-family Thanksgiving there and everybody had a lot of fun.

depending on how many people, check VRBO and beadandbreakfast.com. It's easy to check specific locations and amenities (pool, number of bedrooms, etc.).

We stayed at a b&b in lumberville, right outside of new hope, a few years ago, and it did have a pool. I remember there were quite a few places bordering NY/NJ/PA with a pool. Some were outside of the area we wanted to stay in, but if you're bringing in entertainment and all your friends, your location might be more flexible.

My son and his lovely wife got married at this place on New Year's Eve. Everyone says it was the  best wedding ever! We all stayed over and I gave  everyoneone a Brunch the next am. I am happy to share this great place with you. Indoor and outdoor pools. Surprisingly close to NYC.
