Where did all the yellow buses all of a sudden come from...

...and where are they going?  Been doing the same RT route at the same time since school started.  Today was the first day that I've seen yellow school buses about and I saw 5 different ones between Prospect & Springfield and Columbia High (around 8:30 AMish).  What's going on and will it continue?

Maybe they are trying to optimize the routes.  I have heard many complaints about the new bus routes.
