Whats the word on the new noodle shop to open in SO?

I do love noodles! Anyone got details on what's to come?

A few days ago I asked two people who were inside Noodle Fan about when opening day might be.

They told me that they were waiting for inspections and hoped to open next week.

Noodle Fan is a chain and pretty good and inexpensive. There's one on Stuyvesant Avenue in Union. They have a very reasonably priced lunch special. I would often get the Thai basil rice dish or drunken noodles (spicy). http://www.noodlefanusa.com

Where in South Orange is Noodle Fan going to be located?

14 Academy Street. Looks like in the old buffet location.

Convenient to Carvel for dessert.

I am excited for this to open, they get great reviews online. I am a bit puzzled by the fact that they have only two dishes with noodles listed on the menu though! (One is a soup and the other is pad thai.)

All of the other entrees are stir-fries with rice.

@kmk I Think you're missing part of the menu. Here's one of the pages, the one that seems to have the noodle dishes.

I think it's just a Thai resto with some other things thrown in there, like Chinese steamed bbq pork buns which I am elated to have near by. There was a food cart featuring those near my high school. I've missed having those regularly ever since (thoug TJs has a decent verio og pork bao now)
