What to do with Blue Apron cold packs.

Does anyone recycle these things?

Cut them open and pour them in the trash? I'll let her know and suggest that she double bag the garbage. Personally I'd be worried about leakage. Maybe just toss them as-is and don't open them first since it is ending up in a landfill either way.  

The contents of the recyclable plastic pouches is a gel, not liquid. Alternatively the box and its components can be returned at no charge.
