There is no such thing as a good weed...written by someone who has spent hours pulling out Creeping Charlie from the yard. It is hard to make an id from your pic because scale is unknown. ETA - it looks like wild mustard to me, but without knowing more info (height, where it is growing, etc.) this is just a wild guess.

What is a weed and what is not is in the mind of the beholder. Looks like wild mustard, potentially a wild edible if that is what it is. See http://www.eattheweeds.com/cutting-the-wild-mustard-brassica-sinapis-2/ also good for bees.... 
some weeds are rare plants, just in the wrong spot. As noted above, it's all in the mindset of the beholder.
As I was taught when I was a child, a rose bush in the middle of a wheat field is a weed.
