What is his Worst Lie?

I propose a contest to pick the worst lie told by the champion liar.

The latest is his claim that Time Magazine offered to name him Person of the Year but he declined.

In his off-hand endorsement of an accused child-molester he said that he checked the record of Democratic Candidate Doug Jones and that "he's terrible on crime".

I don’t remember the exact words but it’s along the lines of ‘I won’t have time for golf’.

He's totally disarming because he's so insincere and shallow that he doesn't hide it. What he says is the "truth." He flaunts it. Your facts are not very convincing. What's convincing is who can "convince."  He's the worst face of the U.S. Everything that's awful about our system. Embodied in one American. 

Trump, of course, may never come back to earth. But I hope we (Americans) keep an eye on the most cynical of the cynical, the people who support him. They're shameless as well. Or stupid. They also don't care what anyone thinks. 

I'd have to put his Inauguration crowd-size lie as the worst. It was almost his first statement as President, and it was a direct challenge to believe him or your eyes. Few of his lies have been as easily disproven as this one, and the fact that he never backed off was a signal that there would be no "Presidential" Trump coming - he would still be the same assh*** that he was during the campaign. (though some journalists still haven't figured this out.)

I've never seen polling on this particular lie, but I imagine that his diehard supporters believe even this one, which is as a remarkable statement that you can make about the American electorate imaginable. It signaled that he and his supporters were in a different reality, and they would embrace that reality wholeheartedly.

"I have a good brain."

"I have the best words."

My candidate is the statement that he actually won the popular vote if you discount votes from "illegal aliens". It strikes at the heart of Democracy.

First, it makes election results illegitimate.

Second, it again targets immigrants as the source of evil.

Person of the Year

Access Hollywood tape is doctored.

But, as so many have concluded, it doesn't matter to his 30% support or Congressional GOPers.

If I’m not wrong, I think he’s on pace to beat his predecessor’s 4 year total golf appearances to his in a year. 

I can't even answer this question.  I can't narrow it down to a Top 50, much less one.

This breathtaking list only goes through July 21 and thus does not include "I think there is blame on both sides."

Tangent: What happens when the Kochs own Time magazine?

Koch's private equity fund is giving Meredith $650M in preferred equity (not sure exactly what their rights will be).  Meredith claims that Kochs will not have a seat on the board or influence editorial decisions/content.  I'm not holding my breath.

She stays almost exclusively in her own thread and one of my purposes in starting this thread was to provide an alternative for discussing politics.
