Oh yeah. Missed him.
Jack isn't fooling anyone with that Jason tag...
Mahwa should get one so they can have a Mahwa WaWa.
Anyway, I went tonight with my son and it was terrific. We got subs (hogies in WaWa land). They have a few opening specials. $1.99 milksakes and $3.00 6" inch hogies. Hard to drive out of the parking lot into the traffic on Springfield Avenue at rush hour. Great place though.
they don't charge extra for credit card on gas. Use Bank of America. Credit card and get gas .06 cents per gallon cheaper.
Springfield and Jacoby, just beyond Boyden towards Irvington, just short of the old Maplewood Diner.

Bergen county has one. We are facing a real submarine gap.
Seems that the Ling is closed for now. Apparently, it is going to be relocated. Think Joe D. is making a play for it?
A brief primer:
Wawa (only one capital W): Named for the sound made by the silhouetted goose on the sign.
Hoagie: Does not rhyme with stogie.
Tastykakes, ranked: (1) Tasty Klair, (2) Cherry Pie, (3) Butterscotch Krimpet, (4) Tandy Takes, (5) Lemon Pie. Honorable mention: Cream-Filled Chocolate Cupcakes. Unranked: Juniors.

How the f*ck do you pronounce hoagie then? Not that it really matters to me, as I call them subs. But I really thought it rhymes with stogie. Unless I've been mispronouncing stogie wrong all this time, even though I don't really use that word either, I just call them cigars. I'm so confused. My entire reality is now being questioned!
That was for laughs.
It's hard to describe. Somewhere between "how-gie" and the long o of "stogie."
ETA: What's more important is that you never use it in the same sentence with "mayo."
Free coffee today. The place was packed. Took a long time for a sandwich..,but it was really good! There must have been 20 people in the store and 20 people working.
I just want people to stop calling the sandwich from Town Hall Deli a sloppy joe.
It's not a sloppy joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will have to check it out. But we don't say "Hoagie" here, sorry.

I would think that a goosed bird would sound more like a plaintive moan. Live and learn.

Right! It rhymes with Bumblebutt.

A triple decker sandwich --
They have tripled deckers at all the coffee shops in nyc (well back when those existed..).
