Watch repair? archived

I've been searching the old posts -- is Beacon Jewelers in M'pwd Village still alive? Also, what about the jeweler (old man?) on 1581 Springfield Avenue?

edited to add that I need a battery put inside of a running watch that's very difficult to open.
The Jeweler on Springfield (and he's old in years but not in spirit - he's an amazing guy) is the one I recommend without hesitation. His name is Joe Lancieri and his phone number 973-761-0017.

I've used him several times, and we bought an antique watch from him, too. Nice guy and expert at what he does.

Mr. Simpson is one of several watchmaker's that reside in the Newark Jeweler's Supply building across from the new Maplewood police station, all are reliable.
