Waste Management

My garbage pick-up is today. When it did not happen I called WM. Was told they will not be here today but will pick up on Monday. That is a long time to wait in this hot summer. They used to send out another truck later in the day or the next day. No such luck.

Switch to waste Industries. They’re more reliable, if you’re a one container a week customer it most likely will be on Wednesday.

... if you have Wednesday, Saturday pick up,  Otherwise it will be one of the two days for your zone.

No, WI switched all of their once-a-week customers to Wednesday pickup a few months back. (Our zone is Monday/Thursday for twice a week customers and presumably for WM customers, but we are once-a-week on Wednesday now.)

My luck with WI hasn't been so good. Plenty of missed pickups by me, but they are more reasonably priced than WM.
