Then more people will come here and it won't be the best downtown.
Great downtowns don't usually feature large abandoned warehouses. Just sayin'. #tearitdown

Maplewood is a great town regardless of the ugly yellow brick bomb shelter. I'm happy to vote on nj monthly Thanks Vic.

Great towns usually don't need a survey from some mediocre magazine that bases the results on how many votes a town can get in a popularity contest. Seems like a trump style method for determining what is best.
Maplewood has a nice downtown - and should strive to continue to improve.

I wondered how long that would take.
Not even an hour. Sad really.
Here is the link to the Downtown Showdown.
How about we keep this as a Downtown Showdown page?
Please post that you voted.
I did at 9:15am.
Thanks.

Sorry.
Funny. I get a blank page with the NJ Monthly logo and a Kings banner ad on my phone. Nothing else.
Done. Question for any of you statisticians out there - should we be voting for Maplewood only to beat Summit, or also weigh in on all or some of the others? Intuitively seems like it doesn't matter, but...

Voted, by the way.

Meant for woot or me?
Even if you are not completely satisfied with downtown Maplewood, I think most MOLers would agree that it is more vibrant and more appealing than downtown Summit.
for you...since you were the only one to carry on the conversation after the polite request not to. I guess its just a reflex action for you at this point.
