Verizon FIOS services down, 6/3/15

Woke up to no Verizon FIOS services -- internet, phone, and TV all down. Verizon helpdesk said that the multiple little power outages over the last few days may have fried the main control box; earliest a technician can come is tomorrow morning. He said that there were multiple similar issues in the area -- anybody else in the Wyoming/Ridgewood area of Maplewood & South Orange in the same boat? [I say that realizing that if you ARE in that same boat you are probably NOT online...]

S. Ridgewood near the Walton turn. No issues here.

On N Wyoming near West Orange border. Internet is working. Havent check the TV yet

Just down the street Ms. Beppolina and Verizon FIOS is up and running. Sorry. (You are welcome to come work here today but beware of my cold!)

In Montrose, no issues BUT last evening, the lights in my home dimmed significantly for several minutes and I thought we'd lose power but didn't.

Thanks @kmk -- I've got some access via iPhone hotspot & MacBook, so I'll stay put. Some of our other neighbors though had a similar FIOS issue earlier this week -- the power flickerings & outages makes the FIOS battery say Oh Hell No, I guess

Thanks @ms_cooper -- Verizon said that the control box itself was damaged and needs to be repaired. Always something!

We were among those who lost power yesterday, and when our power came back on it somehow turned on our CD player. It was either the power surge or a ghost. I'm just glad our Verizon equipment seems OK today.

In South Orange near Columbia this morning, no issues

You can actually open the white box on the outside of your house and see whether the problem is with you or Verizon. The lights in the box should all be green.
