Poor man had fairly advanced Alzheimer's. Certainly not easy to live with, especially as he was as renowned for his obsession with bridge as for his acting. I can't imagine the past few years have been easy for his family.

And yet while we think of men of style, and 'classic era' etc, 'Sir' Prince Philip is embroiled in another inappropriate swearing incident, at the age of 94years. The contrast seems great.

This falls under the category of "I thought he was already dead".
