Transportation to Dead & Company at Citi Field

I'm going to both Dead & Co shows at Citi Field on June 25 and 26, but getting there isn't easy.  Anyone else heading to the show(s) and interested in considering creative carpooling/car service solutions so that everyone can have a good time and not have to worry about driving? Thanks!

The LIRR stops right there. Just take the train?

Just a very long ride at the end of a long day... That's definitely the backup plan...

I usually just take the LIRR or the subway.  Driving back can be a nightmare- tis the season for roadwork and late night closures.  But I do park in Secaucus so I have more options from Penn and don't have to worry about catching a specific train.  And then listen for the traffic report on 101.5.  

Either way, it'll be a long, strange trip...

Does anyone know how late shows are going? That might be the deciding factor on public trans. @bradg, any interested Heads take you up on your offer? 

I know the shows start nearly on time (7:30) and go until the 11PM hour. How long into that hour I'm not sure.  Seems like there will be lots of LIRR trains leaving the stadium at that time, so we're likely to train back (possibly taking an uber from secaucus if we miss the M&E transfer).
