Toots Thielemans Passed Away

When the film "Midnight Cowboy" debuted in 1969, people walked out of the movie theaters with red eyes.  Part of the reason was Toots Thielemans.  For those of you who may not be familiar with Toots, you've probably heard his harmonica many times in the Sesame Street theme song.

His music was quite remarkable. I had heard a short bit on WNYC the other day. But the article in the times was great. What a full career and life he had!  Beautiful, complex stuff!
