The Dalai Lama?!?!?!

Yesterday, at the Chester Farmers Market, I was set up as usual with the Defcon tent. Early afternoon, a smartly dressed older woman approached the booth. She asked many questions about Defcon as a whole, and I was more than happy to fill her ear. Well, after a bit of banter, she gave me her card. I was intrigued by it, and asked how this mattered about the Defcon product she was poised to buy. She simply stated that her "friend", from near India was to be in town towards the end of October, and she wanted him to enjoy a sauce that is not 'over the top' but has a nice kick, as he thoroughly enjoys a good spicy meal. I sold her on the Cluckwing Orange, which has become a VERY good seller for us.

She thanked me, and gladly purchased the bottle. Her Card stated she headed up a Tibetan group in NJ, and her friend would be staying in her house, for the 6-7th time. Again, the "friend" came up. I asked if I may know him, she stated probably, as He is the current Dalai Lama (#14). I wasn't so sure, so I did a little digging. OH MAN, SHE is the real deal. SO, towards the end of October, when the Dalai Lama tours the tri-state area, when he is hanging in NJ, he will be consuming Defcon Sauces Cluckwing Orange. I know he doesn't do endorsements, so this is the best I'll get, don't care, THIS IS F**KING AWESOME!

The Dalai Lama will be feasting on Defcon Sauces, YEAH BUDDY!

Oh, Mindful Defcon, for sure. That's just fabulous. Or, simply, Enlightenment? But maybe you don't want to jinx the karma of having him actually consume your sauces. smile
