Thank You Maplewood Police Department

Tonight we went to an event at the Prospect Presbyterian Church called Coffee with a Cop. It was very nice to get out and meet those who are charged with protecting our community. If they have more of these events I highly recommend going. Thank you MPD for reaching out to the community and giving us the opportunity to get to know your members.

Agreed, this was a really good event. Strong relationships between the policy and the communities they serve helps ensure better policing, on all fronts. Will definitely attend the next one and encourage others to do the same.

So, what did you learn?

It wasn't so much about learning as about socializing and meeting the cops in a non-law enforcement situation. Turnout seemed very good with lots of MPD officers and lots of community members present.

And the cookies the MPD folks brought were yummy!!
