Liberal wins Wisconsin court seat ahead of abortion ruling (AP)

(thought this race came up in some threads, but can't find it now so just posting to its own thread)

This is extraordinarily good news.

And the progressive candidate Brandon Johnson was elected mayor of Chicago. 

Is it possible that left leaning voters are finally waking up and realizing elections have consequences?
