I'm amazed that it is barely covered here, and when it is covered it's so brief that it is incorrect.

Old timer… when you start these threads and Jamie moves them to the politics section… do you ever see them again? You’re ready to enlist? Maybe you should read the list of forums and their categories, then you can follow up with the discussions you started… it’s no fun here… check out the politics forum you might have fun

If you go over the politics section and read the "What does Putin Want and Whatabout it" thread you will find 600 pages of debate over this topic and plenty of challenge to your stated views on Ukraine.  You should definitely not enlist to fight over there.  You might want to fight with some people on the thread through.  Apologizing in advance.

Many of us are passionate about Ukraine. I was Facebook friends with a fellow artist who lives in Kiev. When the war broke out she continued to post, so it felt very real to me from the start. Many of us have small Ukrainian flags next to our pictures.

When you click on new discussion, Soap Box is a choice, politics is not.

At the top of forums, click on Politics, then on that page on the left, click on add discussion then where it says choose category there are 2 options, Russia related or Soapbox all politics.

My nerves are on edge. A drone flew over us... The only thing I prayed for... was that they wouldn't shoot it down... that they wouldn't shoot it down. There would be nothing left of my house and garden.There are currently 7 ships at sea that launch about 50, Kalibr, ballistic missiles. The flight time is 2.5 minutes. Most likely, it will be in the morning. And now another group of drones is flying to Kyiv.
