For some reason the text for that link looks alright but it stuck some HTML tags into it. Here's a couple more tests:
1. I entered the link into "URL", this text into "Text" and Unchecked "Open link in new tab"
2. Same as 1 but I checked "open link in new tab"
3. Just pasting the link plain text into the comment box: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/donald-trump-doctor-letter-227464
On the topic - I don't blame the doc. He's not in the business of making these letters and probably had no clue it would ever matter in December. Would love to know if he's got a magic belt buckle as well

I have to disagree. I work with a lot of physicians and biomedical researchers. "Astonishingly excellent"? "Extraordinary"? Scientists don't write like that. For licensed medical professionals, their credentials are on the line. Maybe the doc provided a few of the sentences, but he is being paid to take credit for a letter that Trump wrote.
