Predictably, Michelle Alexander's call for Palestinian rights is attacked by Trump's ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Netanyahu deputy minister Michael Oren as a "strategic threat:"

Time to Break the Silence on PalestineMartin Luther King courageously spoke out about the Vietnam War. We must do the same when it comes to this grave injustice of our time.Co
Great piece and I think the tide is finally turning on this, especially after seeing the reports and videos of children and reporters and unarmed people gunned down and also living in horrendous conditions. She also mentions prominent people who have lost their jobs or awards just for speaking out for human rights. I think this will be an important issue in the 2020 election too.
It was shameful to try to exploit Dr King, who was a well-known Zionist, to promote anti-Israel bigotry and hatred.
I hesitate to engage with such nonsense, but here is a a far more accurate and compelling point of view: https://thehill.com/opinion/international/426379-alan-dershowitz-time-to-tell-the-truth-about-the-palestinian-issue
