North Carolina/GOP Racism

The decision handed down recently against the North Carolina voting law is pretty remarkable.

It shows the moral decrepitude of the SCOTUS decision decimating the voting rights act, and puts a spotlight on how racism is simply built into Republican thinking.

The [original] version of SL 2013-381 provided that all
government-issued IDs, even many that had been expired, would satisfy
the requirement as an alternative to DMV-issued photo IDs....With race data in hand, the legislature amended the bill to exclude many of the alternative photo IDs used by African Americans.

Play around with google. You'll find other remarkable statements from the decision pointing out the blatant racism of the Republican Party.

We can take some comfort in the fact that today's racists are so damn stupid that they don't really bother to hide it anymore.
