Can't get hyped up on this. And I don't care about the NY state governor either. Talk to me about New Jersey.

In this day and age, reputations can be lost, and then regained, in an instant.
It seems a bit too soon, to me, for him to throw his hat (or his shirt) into the ring, but I guess I'm just old school.

How popular is he in New York?
What's his "base'.
Quinn has the Gays and pro-Bloomberg establishment. Thompson has the Blacks. Di Blasio seems to have the Left.

What % of residents of our Town spend five days a week all day long in NYC?
What % visit NYC for recreation on a regular basis. To a very great extent Maplewood and South Orange are "Bedroom Communities" for NYC.

Not sure what he brings to the table.
Christine Quinn seems more like the kind of outlandish character which suits the office of Mayor of New York.
I'm a lifelong resident of New Jersey, but the NYC mayor does affect the life of people such as myself.
