Previously there were twelve areas. Areas 1 & 2 would get pick up on one day, Areas 3 & 4 the next ... Now there are only six areas. The new area #1 is pretty much the same as the former areas 1 & 2, etc. and only one area gets pick up per day. More a change in name than in georgraphy. There may be a few minor changes in borders so it could still be worth checking the map to make sure that your pick up group hasn't changed, especially if you are on the border of one of the former groups.

Me too! I never thought they'd changed the numbers for the areas of town and had already put what I thought were my dates in my calendar. Thank you @nohero for posting this or I would have had my stuff out on all the wrong days and getting pissed off that they didn't pick it up!
