South Orange Tax Bill

Beyond the ridiculousness of the taxes in town, which merits it's own website, let alone a thread, why is the town sending me tax payment stubs when I already pay by taxes with my mortgage? Never happened before.

I get them. They list estimated taxes for next year. I assumed everyone gets them, regardless of how we pay.

Don't ever recall getting the stubs previously, but I've been here for so long, maybe I've just forgotten.

I used to get advisory copies. I liked to see them, just to know what I was being raked over the coals for. Now that I am paying them myself it's just a little more "ouchy."

I always received the tax notification even though my taxes were sent in by the mortgage company.

I'm not questioning the notification, I've gotten that as well, but this time they included payments stubs, which I never recall getting.
