South Orange Elks Rent Party Garden Rebuild!

We're undertaking a massive rebuild of the South Orange Elks Rent Party Garden this Saturday. Replacing 27 beds in anticipation of our 12th season! The South Orange Elks Rent Party Garden raised 3,000 pounds of produce last summer that was donated to local hunger-fighting initiatives. 

The beds are being rebuilt with the help of the Eastern Atlantic State Regional Council of Carpenters, but we're looking for some extra hands to help move soil.

Simply an incredible day in the South Orange Elks Rent Party Garden! 

So much community spirit and camaraderie. Thanks to the volunteers from the Carpenters Union. They did an amazing job. We were touched by how "all in" those guys were, working hard and staying until the job was done! Thanks to members of South Orange Elks who pitched in. Elks care. Elks share. The Garden works because of our unique partnership with them. Thanks to all the other folks who stopped by for a little bit or spent a good chunk of their Saturday with us, It was a wonderful mix of kids, adults, first-timers, and returning Garden veterans. 

It was a beautiful day. 

We're excited about our 12th season of providing fresh produce to those in need in our two towns. We are grateful for the generous, ongoing support of the South Orange Elks and this entire community.
