Silent Vigil at Seton Hall Gate 12:00 pm on Menendez Speech

Senator Menendez will deliver his speech on the Iran Nuclear Deal at 1:00
pm at the Seton Hall School of Diplomacy.

Join me for a SILENT VIGIL AT 12:00 NOON (We have
permission)
At the Main Gate Entrance to Seton Hall

South Orange Avenue near Centre Street (at end of the campus toward
Newark)

Please come with your sign:

"Senator Menendez Support the Deal"

"Diplomacy Not War"

"340 Rabbis Support the Deal"

"John Warner and Richard Lugar Support the Deal"

"NATO Supports the Deal"

It's Seton Hall. Nice that 340 Rabbis support the deal, but doesn't the Pope also support it?

Yes.

Seton Hall was just a backdrop for the speech. There were likely Seton Hall students in the audience, but the head of Norpac, a hawkish pro-Israeli Menendez donor was there and two drivers who stopped at our vigil to ask for directions, indicated they had received directions from "The Federation." It was a friendly audience that was mostly there by invitation.

But your point is well-taken. We should have had a sign mentioning the Pope.

Menendez is just a sleeze bag who is desperately trying to deflect attention from his legal problems. Having been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, he will stoop incredibly low to raise funds for his legal defense. Shame on him.

Menendez may be hedging his bets on a possible criminal conviction. Israel has a reputation for not extraditing persons it considers friends.

As to the lobbying going on regarding the proposed agreement with Iran, the National Rifle Association is considered to be out of control in spending 28 million dollars in 2014 to influence opinion. Since the agreement was announced last month, 40 million has been pledged and is being spent by just 2 U.S. organizations to lobby against ratification.

Are you suggesting Senator Menendez would flee the US to Israel if charges were brought against him? Do you have any background on this type of scenario having happened in the past or clues that would indicate this is what the Senator would be "hedging" for?
