Curb alert:
Shortly before sundown today, I saw a healthy, vigorous Christmas cactus (or at least a Buckleyi group Schlumbergera) abandoned on top of a tiny pile of leaves in the street along the curb. Top of Woodhill (07040), between last and next to last house, on the left (heading west). Judging by rubor of its segments, likely spent the last months outdoors in full sun. Intact root ball; Pro-mix cactus mix type media. Pot was probably 6-8''.

Does anyone grow prolific succulents with the ability to dig up a few for a local elementary school that is building a classroom terrarium? Please PM me. Thanks!
