Salvage Style on Baker Street - KUDOS!

A very special KUDOS to the very nice lady who helped me out at Salvage Style.  They sell these wonderful vintage classroom pull down charts in their store.  I’ve had a window in my office at home that has sat without a window shade for a very long time.  When I saw this vintage botanical pull down in the store, she allowed me to measure it – and even took it outside and held it up so I could see the light shining through it.  While not an official “shade”, it hangs perfectly in the window.  The before and after is shown in the 2 pics below.  Wonderful service from a local business here in town! KUDOS to Salvage Style!

they have a few other ones in various colors - it was hard to decide, believe me!

That's cool! I like those prints, and was thinking of getting some, and now I know I can shop locally! Great idea using one as a shade, too! (Maybe you could even get it plasticized?)

If you can't find what you want in that store locally, try etsy. I went on there this afternoon and found TONS of similar charts. Gives me all kinds of ideas!
