Road Construction - Tillou Road Improvements (from Harding Drive to Wyoming Avenue)

The Township of South Orange Village has awarded the contract to perform these road improvements to - REIVAX CONTRACTING CORP.356 THOMAS ST.NEWARK , NJ TEL: 973-817-5553

Road work is planned to start the week of September 14th, 2015.

• The work will be from 7 am to 4 pm.
• The work is planned to take 6-8 weeks, weather permitting.·
• As part of the project, the work will consist of drainage improvements, installation of granite block curbing and a new asphalt driving surface.

I will post greater details to closure schedules and alternative routes as received.

Great news! That road has got to be one of the worst in the Village since Thornden was rebuilt.

Any chance they will be painting "STOP" markers around the intersection of Tillou and Mayhew? Cars regularly fly up and down that hill with no regard for the existing stop signs. There's close calls on an almost daily basis.

I assume the lines will be painted but will make sure.
