I've been watching the coverage on SportsCenter for the past hour. Pat Summitt's career shows the evolution of women's sports. According to one reporter, her first office as head coach of the Lady Vols looked like a closet and barely had room for one visitor.
She was an amazing person. As previous MOL threads have shown - Alzheimer's sucks. Such a loss.
It's just devastating. What a titan.
The college basketball world was robbed too soon of the great minds of Pat Summitt and Dean Smith, because of Alzheimer's.
