Restaurant Suggestions

I am meeting an old friend who now lives in Stamford, Ct. for apps/dinner. She is willing to come to NJ around 4-4:30 during the week (probably on a Tuesday or Wednesday). Anyone have experience with a somewhat quiet restaurant either at or around the American Dream Mall? Does not need to be fancy, but a comfortable place to lounge around, eat and talk.

The Capital Grille Paramus at the Garden State Plaza is conveniently located off the GS Parkway and is excellent.   https://www.thecapitalgrille.com/locations/nj/paramus/paramus/8045   We meet CT friends there regularly.

Fire & Oak in Montvale, NJ. Excellent restaurant, cool vibe. Right off the GSP.
