Recent Twp Tax bills

I just viewed Twp recent tax bill payment schedule.  Query if listed tax bills are based on assessed value of the property or something else.  I note that some properties with similar assessed value have tax bills much lower and even property with much higher assessed values have a lesser tax bill than similar assessed ones.  Am I missing something??

Can you provide examples?

Tax bills are based on assessed value of the property. The new bills which will be received soon (they had been delayed) are based on the current revaluation. I don't really understand your question but if you try this link you may see the various properties with different assessed values. Perhaps you can point to what you mean by "similar assessed value have tax bills much lower and even property with much higher assessed values have a lesser tax bill than similar assessed ones."

Please see this website if you are registered to view your tax online.   WIPP (edmundsassoc.com).  Go to your property to see your assessed value and tax rate; then compare that with the tax on any similarly assessed property you can choose randomly.

Did you look at the reval section of this site?

jwm64. When the reval came out I did all I needed to do to compare the house on my block, etc. As DanDietrich asked did you look at the reval section of this site?
