Wed December 27th
Rain tonight, possibly heavy at times.
Light rain possible this afternoon. Moderate rain likely this evening and overnight, possibly a heavier shower or two. There is a bit of a spread in the models over if and where the heavier rain sets up, with some models showing 1 - 1.5 inches in our area and some showing up to 2 inches. This is still well below last week's storm total but with the saturated ground and streams still running high, a rain total towards the higher end of the range could cause minor field and stream flooding and some minor road ponding on Thursday morning. The NWS has held off on any watches for the time being but will be reassessing throughout the day.
Winds are not a concern with this system, and temperatures will remain above freezing
Some showers may linger Thursday through Saturday with clearing likely for New Years
