Just curious what happened to the quick check on Boyden and Springfield Avenue ?

I would imagine Wawa killed their traffic.

They got robbed several times. Plus Wawa is the new kid in town..

It was such an awkward spot. Terrible to try and navigate getting into that parking lot with the town’s worst intersection right there.

As I’ve mentioned before I am all over the state for work. The newest Quick Cheks are on par with the new Wawas. I think that Wawa expanding in NJ forced Quick Chek as a company to up its game.

There wasn’t much you could do with that Quick Chek location to compete with Wawa. Although I will say the Maplewood Wawa is probably the worst I’ve been in around NJ. Most of their stores don’t have keypads on the restrooms, for instance.

Maplewqood WAWA is also the only one I've been to that has security guards to watch over their store.

I wonder why.

I wouldn't be surprised is WAWA abandons this site in a few years. Gas service is sucky.

The new QC on RT10 is definitely up to par with the Wawa’s.

WW and QC are both building stand-alone stores on secondary highways. My favorite, intersection of 206 and rt 15, Sussex County. One each, on opposite corners.

I used to frequent the Wawa off Exit 1 on 280 getting onto 46. Good gas and good coffee.

I used to go there also. Too bad no wawa in Ohio.

I liked both Quick Chek and WaWa coffee.   These businesses even had special staff who would check the coffee in the stores.

I wish they would get rid of the air pump in the back, or maybe charge to use it.  People line up their cars with no regard for other people trying to park or get through.
