Private Dog Trainer?

Someone told me about a dog trainer that came to their house and said that his info could be found on Maplewood Online. I have searched in the archives, but can't seem to find anything. Does anyone have any information about him?

Ralph Fabbo. (973) 763-2977. He's great. Very strict, but very successful. And our dog loves him!

Ralph Fabbo does NOT believe in treat training, only in choke collar training and physical handling, like pushing the dog's butt into the ground. I'm sure works for some, but dogs that respond well to treat training (google--labs, etc) they may do better with a different approach. Just FYI.

I met Elvine Tsang of Bark Karma when she volunteered for an animal rescue that I work with. She has been wonderful at bringing difficult dogs into her home & training them, then getting them adopted. She does in-home training & has lots of positive feedback from her clients (one of whom was a very good friend of ours) & other rescuers. She also does boarding at her home & doggie daycare, too. You can go to her Facebook page - Bark Karma - for more information. Her phone number is (973) 664-7387.

Two other options are:

Fernando (Fern). His website is ferndogtraining.com. He comes to your house and he helped me with a few specific issues I was having with our beagle. If you want more information feel free to pm me

You can also schedule private lessons with the trainers from St. Hubert's. You can either go to their training facility or they will also come to you but when I priced it out they were one of the more expensive options.
