The PSEG website doesn't show an anticipated restoration time. It lists the status as under investigation. We're near Jefferson and Ridgewood.
ETA - just received a text message indicating restoration time of 6:45 PM.
The website says equipment failure (pole, transfer or wire) and shows 6:30 PM restoration time.
Our power came back, but now our FIOS is not functioning. After a long time on hold it seems that they cannot send a test signal to our house. Wondering if its just us or if others have the same problem.
Yes, we went through all that with Verizon. The problem is not inside the house.
Our Verizon Fios is now working fine. ETA - we had to reboot.

How old is the box housing your back-up battery? When my system failed last year, I was told by a FIOS technician that the older boxes have a tendency to fail permanently after a power outage. They sent someone to replace the box and all was well. Contact FIOS if you can and ask if this is a possible cause of your problem.
we had a power outage and our Comcast modem didn't work properly until I unplugged it and rebooted 3 times.
