Power out - Kendal Valley / Jefferson School area

I just got home, was only gone about an hour and a half but now we have no power. Anyone else in similar predicament?

Our lights flickered about 15 minutes ago but stayed on. We are near Rynda and Ridgewood

We're out, too. PSEG message estimates 8:30 return.

Yes, there was a whole flashing lights/popping sounds kind of thing going on near Maplewood Ave/Jefferson intersection. Power lines, transformer....?

Just to be safe, I called PSE&G to report the outage, too. Oh well, maybe our generator will get a workout this evening, but only if power's not back by 9pm or so.

We have had intermittent flashing of lights all afternoon but lights have stayed on. I am on Washington Park between Ridgwood and Wyoming.

Ours is also out. Jefferson/Ridgewood. PSEG told me they do not have a restoration time.

Power is out on Hoffman and Arcularius Terrace.

A tree is down on Maplewood and Jefferson. Could that be the cause of the problem?

When I picked up my toddler at the Y at 5:40, their power was out, too.

Aha. Our power only flickered, but as posted elsewhere our Verizon box is totally fried (we're at the Wyoming end of New England Road).
