Yeah, over near Maplecrest Park.. There was a tree down on Essex wonder it it's related...

Heard a huge gust before, then sirens...

Reported to PSE&G, who replied that they were aware of the problem, and that it would be fixed by 2:45.

We're out on Oakview near Prospect.  I called PSE&G and the person there took it as a new report.  We aren't all that far from Maplecrest Park, though, so definitely might be related.

Near Hilton, we're out too. Of course I was in the middle of washing clothes

Tuscan and Yale.  PSEG said previous problem resolved and took it as new report

PSE&G: We are aware of a power outage near  WELLESLEY ST. We are working to restore power. Estimated restoration is 03/02 11:15 AM.

I just got same message.

PSE&G: Here's the most up-to-date info for the outage at  WELLESLEY ST.
Est restoration: 03/02 02:15 PM

I got a  text from them saying 11:15, then a later one now saying 3:30.

just called to report outrage and they said restoration by 330  

And lo and behold, power is back.  I think it is safe to say that restoration times given by PSE&G are often highly misleading and close to meaningless.

Yup!  (But I'm happier with PSE&G being wrong and my power being back.)

Our power (College Hill) is still out.  Anyone else?

If your power hasn't returned by now, I strongly suggest you call PSE&G again and report the continued outage.  It may be something specific to your house.
