I believe O'Reilly's has a table, not sure how kid friendly it is. They do serve food, so maybe ok?
Another option may be the Billards place on 22 West, out near Scotch Plains. That one does not have a liquor license and might be more kid friendly, although a bit of a drive.

my 10 year old son really wants to learn how to play pool. is there a restaurant/sports bar nearby that has a table or two, and is kid friendly?
