Please report your power outage to PSE&G

Power went out about 5 minutes ago. Despite initial message on PSE&G emergency line saying there was an outage in our area, when I continued on and reported our outage, they said they knew nothing about an outage and asked that I ask all neighbors who have lost power to please call them at (800) 436-7734 and report their outages so that they will get a better idea of the scope of the outage. Thanks!

I called the PSE&G number and the recording indicated wires were down due to "contact with trees" and that a crew had been dispatched to the area. They estimate power should be back by 9:30 tonight.

Power came back pretty quickly - before 6 PM, if I recall correctly. Wasn't very bad this time!
