Please, can anyone recommend a carpenter whose work you've been happy with?

Well, not for me, mrmaplewood. When I searched this afternoon, I got three responses, and two were from 3 or 4 years ago. If the responses had shown up when I searched, I wouldn't have started a new thread asking for names. I said that in my first post.
We've had a good experience with Dave Greene. He is an advertiser on MOL. He rebuilt a section of our Maplewood room that had terrible wood rot and created a custom window that matched the rest of our windows in the room. If you'd like to see the results, please PM me.

We have 2 carpentry jobs to be done - one small, one more substantial. I've looked at the MOL business listings, and will make some calls, but I was hoping some of you might have personal experience with firms you've been thrilled with (or will never use again). I've searched MOL, but the recommendations are back in 2011 and 2012, nothing more recent.
I'd appreciate any guidance - we did have one guy who was very good, but he's moved out of the area and I haven't been able to reach him at the phone number I had for him.
