Ping pong/Table tennis

My son has developed a real interest in ping pong, but our house is too small for a table.

Is there a place around here where we could go and play - gyms, club, church basement etc.?

About once or twice a week for an hour.

No issue in paying for this privilege.

I don't know if this would work for you but we decided to use half of our double garage as pingpong table space.  Just right and even put in a viewers chair and a radio/cd player.  Obviously there are times when it is too cold but it's cool in the summer and out of the sun.  Lights available for evening play as well.

Thanks.  The club is interesting (though pricey) but good to know that there is an option.

I have thought about putting a table in our garage but that would kick out the one car which fits there now.

we had the same issue.  I got an outdoor table.

A former local gym owner once told me that the MFD HQ on Dunnell was a hotbed of table tennis activity. He was in a position to know. Your son might be welcome, particularly if he is talented.

Baird used to have a table set up inside,  adjacent to the porch.

Still: Westfield  will provide the best opportunity to fully leverage his potential.
