nahhhh....don't mess with it....and this is coming from a person who will teeter on the edge sometimes with dates...I frequently will argue "sold by" , "best if used by" and "...."expires by" lol

Well I did it. Absolutely no discolor, they smelled fine, weren't fizzy or anything but they are now in the trash.
English muffins will have to be the close runner-up in the AM.

I have used crescent rolls a few months past exp date a number of times and they have been fine

I would totally have used them.

Expiration dates are a scam by the fat cat crescent roll lobby.

There is no chance that in my house those things would get even close to an expiration date.

I once was involved in a case in which a woman was preparing the crescent rolls, and as she tried to open them, they exploded and caused an eye injury. Pillsbury's defense was that she used the product after the recommended "use by" date. The case settled.

They are used in one of the kid's favorite things to prepare when they cook themselves dinner because mommy and daddy have a date night. Paired with 'Lil Smokies sausages they make easy to eat pigs in a blankets.
The fact the can went past it's expiration must mean we have not gone on enough dates recently!

I have used them past their expiration date. You can tell when they are no good... the discoloration is a sure sign...
